Placing Orders

ONLINE:  You must register to become a member to order online.

NEW USERS must create a password by clicking login (top right corner) and following the instructions. After registering you will receive a confirmation, then you will be able to login.

MEMBERS can simply login, select the items they want to add to their cart and submit their order.

Minimum Order Size

Our minimum order size is $250 for new customers. 

Re-orders are not subject to a minimum however, orders less than $100 are subject to a $25 handling fee.

 

Currency

Prices are quoted in your local currency. 

 

Back Orders

Out of stock items will be kept on back order until available, unless instructed otherwise.  Back orders less than $50 will be automatically cancelled.

Re-orders must be prepaid unless credit is granted.

Overdue Accounts – we take overdue accounts very seriously. Customers who abuse their credit terms will lose their status and revert to prepayment. Overdue accounts sent to a collection agency will be subject to a surcharge of $50 or 15% of the invoice total, whichever is greater.

 

Delivery & Tracking

Orders are subject to delivery charges from our warehouse in Toronto.

After making are payment arrangement we will prepare your order for delivery within 3 business days.

Payment must be received prior to delivery unless credit has been granted.

ALL THINGS ASIAN uses FedEx or Canada Post for delivery. Delivery charges are not always known when payment is arranged. For orders greater than $300 we guarantee that shipping will be less than 12% of the invoice total, except in rare circumstances (eg. such as remote regions).

Cancellations / Annulations

We make every effort to honor cancellation requests. If we do not receive your request before the order has been shipped, it will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus all freight charges incurred. If the order has been refused and is sent back to us, a 20% fee plus all freight charges will be charged.

Returns and Damaged Goods

We go to great lengths to ensure your goods arrive to you in the same condition they left our warehouse. However, sometimes items are damaged during transportation. If you receive damaged goods you must contact us immediately. No returns will be accepted unless authorized. ALL THINGS ASIAN will arrange pick up of items to be returned. Please ensure that items are boxed appropriately prior to pick up. When the returned goods are received in our warehouse a credit note will be processed on your account.

What is your minimum order size?

Our opening order minimum is $250. Subsequent order minimum is $100.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, cheques, money orders, VISA and MasterCard. We can also arrange for COD payment. NSF cheques will be subject to a surcharge of $25.

How can I set up an account with you?

Your initial order must be prepaid prior to delivery. Thereafter, you may establish credit privileges by completing our Credit Application, which you will receive with your initial order.

Can I receive your catalogue?

Please see our online catalogue at www.allthingsasian.ca. Due to the wide range of products offered and our desire to maintain the most competitive prices, a print catalogue is not available at this time. However, many item pages may be printed from our website for your reference. Please refer to our website often, as our inventory is updated regularly.

When is my credit card charged?

If you are pay using your credit card, your card will not be charged until the shipment is ready to leave our warehouse. We will not charge your credit card until you have authorized us to do so.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Generally, orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days from time of order. During tradeshow seasons, some delays may occur.

The following are examples of transit times from the time your shipment leaves our Toronto warehouse:

Vancouver: 4 business days
Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg: 3 business days
Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City: 1 business day
Moncton, Halifax, St. Johns: 2 business days

What if I need my order urgently?

Our aim at ALL THINGS ASIAN is complete customer satisfaction. Please inform us if your order is urgent and we will do our best to process it on a priority basis, at no extra charge.

Special shipping services such as Next Day or Express are charged at current rates according to shipping region, size and weight of your package(s). Please inquire at time of order for details.

What are your shipping methods?

ALL THINGS ASIAN can provide various shipping methods; however, our preferred carrier is Federal Express, Ground Service (1-7 business days within Canada). Each shipment is carefully inspected, packed, and delivered directly to your door.

How much will shipping cost me?

At ALL THINGS ASIAN, you benefit from the volume discounts we receive from our primary carrier, FedEx, which we pass on to you. In remote regions we must sometimes use Canada Post for deliveries. All freight charges are based on weight and dimensions of your shipment.

Regardless of the carrier used, we guarantee that for orders totalling $300 or more, freight charges will be less than 12% of your invoice total. Exceptions may occur in some circumstances, such as with shipments to parts of Nunavut during certain periods of the year or with deep discounted items.

Most retailers are concerned about freight charges because of bad experiences with wholesalers who make a significant profit from shipping.  By putting a cap on shipping charges and maintaining a profit neutral policy on shipping, ALL THINGS ASIAN makes shipping a minor consideration in the buying decision.

WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A COMPLAINT ABOUT EXCESSIVE SHIPPING CHARGES.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

In order to ship to a P.O. Box, the order must be couriered using the Canada Post Postal Service. This is not our preferred carrier. Other shipping methods, such as UPS and FedEx, cannot ship to a P.O. Box; therefore, we require a physical shipping address.

Do you ship to countries other than Canada and the USA?

At this time, we ship only to Canada and the United States. If you live outside of these countries, we cannot process your order.

Do you drop ship?

Yes. Please provide us with the complete address of your customer and we will deliver directly to their door.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can pick-up your order at our distribution centre. Please advise us upon placing your order.

Can I track my order?

Yes, your shipment may be tracked. Please contact us for your tracking ID number(s).

Can I visit your showroom?

How do I obtain a login and password?

If you are not currently a customer, click the 'Login" near the top right side of the screen (just below the top menu bar) and follow the instructions. If you are having trouble with a login please call us at 1-877-877-7405 and we will be happy to guide you through the steps. After registering a Customer Services Representative will contact you, via email, with your login details.

What if my order arrives damaged, I receive incorrect merchandise, or I am missing an item?

At ALL THINGS ASIAN, we are focused on pleasing you. If you have received a damaged or incorrect item, or if you believe that part of your order is missing, please call us immediately, toll free, at 1-877-877-7405 or send an email to a Customer Service Representative at admin@allthingsasian.ca. In your message, it would be helpful if you reference your invoice number and provide as much detail as possible about the situation.

We will replace any damaged item or provide you with a credit, including all shipping costs. Similarly, if you should receive a product other than the one you ordered, or you are missing any product, the correct product will be shipped to you as soon as possible at no charge to you.

What is your policy on returns and exchanges?

At ALL THINGS ASIAN, we have "100% Hassle-Free Guarantee". Our aim is for you to be completely satisfied with every single one of your purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it for a full credit or exchange at no cost to you. Please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order. We will arrange all returns and exchanges at no cost to you. You may also refer to our Return Policy section for step-by-step instructions on how to return an item.

How do I ship a product back to you?

Although we can only do so much, we believe in the contribution of improving the artisan's quality of life. Backed by consumers, we engage in supporting numerous small-scale artisans, villagers and farmers throughout Southeast Asia, raising awareness and creating opportunities for those with economic and other disadvantages, which restrict them from accessing world markets.

We take a stand behind each and every product we sell to you. To validate this, ALL THINGS ASIAN has a Guaranteed Sell Through policy. If you are not completely satisfied with our product, you have the option of returning the product to us after nine months, at no cost to you. We will supply you with a credit or process an exchange, arrange all shipping and pay for all costs.
